Affinity Groups

NOVAA supports specialty groups for volunteer managers who are interested in networking for specific purposes or interests. The groups currently meeting are below. If you have an idea for a specialty group, let us know! Contact admin@novaa.org to share your ideas. 

Advanced Volunteer Managers Network

The Advanced Volunteer Managers Network provides an opportunity for volunteer managers with advanced professional experience to network with other advanced practitioners. Meeting topics delve into advanced areas and are discussed in a small group setting. This group is available to volunteer management professionals who have worked in the field for 3 years or more. MoVE

MoVE is Managers of Volunteers for the Environment, an Affinity Group of NOVAA that was active in the early 2000’s. MoVE members coordinate volunteer programs for outdoor or environmentally-oriented non-profits, government agencies or other businesses. If you would like to join a group to talk about issues related specifically to managing volunteers who spend time outside, this is the group for you!
