Board of Directors
NOVAA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. Board of Directors serve a minimum one-year term and in addition to serving on the Board, serve as chairs of the NOVAA committees and workgroups that guide the organization: Marketing, Programming, Membership and Professional Development. All members are encouraged to take their turn to serve on the Board of Directors. Serving on the board of a nonprofit is a great resume and experience builder, as well as a way to give back to the organization! Board meetings are held from 4:00-6:00pm every third Tuesday. NOVAA is actively recruiting to fill several open Board positions. If you are interested in a Board of Directors position, contact admin@novaa.org for more information.
