MARKETING COMMITTEE
Are you a marketing guru? Have a specialty in website content or writing? Assist the Marketing Committee in providing timely content to volunteer managers. The NOVAA Marketing Committee manages the marketing and communication strategy and implementation for NOVAA and is seeking members to fill the following positions:
* Social Media Manager:
Keep NOVAA members up to date on the lastest resources by updating the Members Only and Public webpages. Requires basic knowledge of CMS. (Time Commitment: appx. 1 hour a month)
* Press Release Manger:
If you have a skill for writing, come join the marketing committee as a press release manager. Develop press releases for trainings, program meetings and conference items.
* Guest Writers:
Seeking professionals to write articles about the newest trends in volunteer management, program meeting events, and other hot topics related to volunteer management. Write about technology and the hottest new applications that are advancing the field, editorialize on the changing dynamics of the average volunteer, share tips and tricks for volunteer managers joining the field….all these topics and more are of interest to our savvy NOVAA members. Join this group of talented writers providing the most up-to-date information and editorials in the volunteerism field. (Time Commitment: 1 article per every 2 issues).

PROGRAM COMMITTEE
NOVAA is committed to bringing professionals in the field together to discuss emerging trends in volunteer management. Have ideas for exciting topics to explore at NOVAA Meetings? Experienced in developing training series? Join the programming committee and help develop an exciting calendar of monthly events.
Time Commitment: This committee meets once a month for 1-hour to brainstorm topics and training series. Additional time may be required to contact speakers and organize programming.
