Despite (and perhaps because of) these difficulties, the nonprofit field plays an ever-increasing role in supporting the development of healthy communities, and having skilled, passionate volunteer administrators is imperative. In particular, the U.S. government is placing increased importance on volunteering, and is pushing for a surge of volunteers in 2010. Therefore, our final meeting of 2009 will focus on building renewed hope and passion for the coming year, and discussing ways in which we can support one another in accomplishing our goals. We are positioned to make 2010 one of the most amazing years in the field of volunteer management!

Guest facilitator and local author Mike Goss, author of Breaking Through Walls (a story of overcoming life’s obstacles), will give you the tools to plan and execute a new year full of successes. He’ll show you how to work harder, with greater focus, and a renewed sense of the reasons why you chose volunteer management as your career. Mike understands the challenges of meeting increased demands with dwindling resources.
Breaking Through Walls, LLC is Mike’s latest venture, where he delivers keynote speeches, leadership training, and coaching.
