Northwest Oregon Volunteer Administrators Association (NOVAA), asks you to take a few minutes to recognize the hard working volunteer professional in your organization for the work they do on behalf of your organization and the community. We invite you to recognize the professional abilities of the person responsible for managing the volunteers in your or another’s organization by nominating him or her for an award through their professional association, NOVAA. All memberships not renewed by the end of September will be terminated. Are you interested in participating in the upcoming NOVAA conference? How about registering for the Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) certification process, or attending the Volunteer Management 101 or 201 workshop? Don’t let money keep you from participating! Please apply for a scholarship from NOVAA. To further our mission and to enhance and support the profession of volunteer administration, NOVAA offers scholarships to enable members to attend pre-selected programs and events that will aid their professional development. Need-based awards will be granted based on how the applicant or their organization will benefit by attending the event/program and how their experience will enhance the profession of volunteer administration. If you know of someone who would benefit, please pass on this important information.
Applications should be submitted at least one month prior to the date of the event for which the scholarship is being applied, however applications will be considered up to two weeks prior to the event.
